You need the #12, #22 or #32 for chicken bone and up, I use the #12 and have no issues with chicken bones. I am considering moving up to the #22, so I feel more comfortable loading more than a couple bones at a time, but my meat, offal and bone comes out beautifully on the smallest blade.
